Welded Section Self-Supporting Towers

Our welded section self support tower was originally designed to assist a wireless Internet provider network a series of facilities over a large geographic region. The customer wanted a less visible, installation friendly tower. The original design was for reduced wind-load applications at heights up to 140’. Today, we have taken this design and by changing member sizes have been able to go to heights of 200’ in 3 and 4 carrier towers.

Our customers appreciate the ease of installation. Most sites are completely erected in one day. Additionally, this tower has been used in special zoning applications. The slim profile and bracing make it less visible to the eye than your conventional monopole. The tower is much easier to work and climb on than a monopole as well as retrofit with mounts and coax hangers for your additional carriers. This tower is still one of the most economical solutions for tight sites and light wind load applications.
