Guyed Towers

Eastpointe’s guyed tower line is a product of combined in-house quality fabrication experience and field installation expertise. This combination enabled us to design one of the straightest, easily connected, erector-friendly guyed towers.

Our sections are fabricated to 20’ length standard. Our different models include 18-G, 24-G, 30-G 36-G, 42-G, 48-G and 58-G (18” face, 24” face, 30” face etc…). All sections are fit-up in heat-treated and milled jigs to insure straight square sections and eliminate any potential problems with twisting or the need to shim legs. We utilize 50 ksi solid rounds for the legs and 36 ksi solid rounds for the braces. Solid rounds eliminate any problems with ice splitting the legs or unseen corrosion. Typical tower sections have a z-brace configuration with horizontals at every bay. Pivot Base sections are standard with every tower. Climbing braces are incorporated into one face of the section. Coax brackets can be welded on one, two or all three faces inside and out to your specifications.

Our three-bolt flange design is 25% faster in bolt up than the commonly used 4-bolt design. Additionally, our flanges have a lower profile than square flanges and rounded corners to help reduce the potential of rigging being snagged when hoisting loads up the tower. Other accessories such as torque arms, antenna mounts and even our anchor shafts with rigging lugs are designed with the erector in mind.
